As part of its ongoing efforts to develop the academic and personal skills of its students, the College of Engineering at Alnoor University witnessed the organization of a distinguished scientific and specialized debate that brought together a select group of students from the Department of Civil Engineering and the Department of Architecture Engineering.

The debate activities commenced with a comprehensive introductory overview of both departments. The atmosphere of competition then shifted into a stage of intellectual engagement and constructive confrontation, where the two teams exchanged logical arguments and evidence drawn from field and practical experience. This took place in a refined academic setting that reflects the high level of students’ awareness of their specializations and their importance.

The debate concluded on a highly positive and professional note, where perspectives converged, and both teams affirmed a fundamental truth: that engineering work is integrative between the two departments, with each complementing the other, and that both represent a key pillar and an essential foundation for advancing the urban and societal reality.

This distinguished event was organized by Assistant Lecturer Saad Saleh Diab and held under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Saad Ali Alta’an.

The University of Alnoor reaffirms its continued commitment and ongoing efforts to host and organize such qualitative and extracurricular activities, in recognition of its active and fundamental role in building a well-rounded student personality and preparing students to become competent leaders and influential contributors in the real field of work.
