A meeting was held between the College of Engineering and the Technical Engineering College at Alnoor University and the College of Engineering at the University of Mosul to discuss organizing a joint engineering conference

Alnoor University is keen to establish scientific cooperation between its colleges and their counterparts in universities in Nineveh, Iraq, and around the world to support the movement of scientific research and unify the efforts of faculty members regardless of their workplace. In this regard, the College of Engineering and the Technical Engineering College at Alnoor University held a joint meeting with the College of Engineering at the University of Mosul to identify areas of cooperation in organizing a joint engineering conference between the two universities, as well as to share tasks and unify efforts. The meeting was held at the Dean’s office of the College of Engineering at the University of Mosul, in the presence of Professor Dr. Saad Ali Al-Taan, Dean of the College of Engineering at Alnoor University, and Professor Dr. Kamel Ali Abdul Mohsen, Dean of the Technical Engineering College at Alnoor University, along with Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Mohammed Hamdoun, Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Mosul, and several representatives from both colleges. During the meeting, the main organizational and scientific aspects related to holding the conference were discussed, including defining the conference themes, scientific and organizational committees, mechanisms for receiving and reviewing research papers, as well as the proposed timeline for holding the conference.
