Alnoor University has issued the zero issue of the Alnoor Journal for Oil and Gas Studies—a peer-reviewed, semi-annual academic journal specializing in oil and gas research. This inaugural issue includes six scientific papers authored by researchers from Alnoor University, the University of Mosul, and the University of Tikrit. The journal adopts an open-access, no-publication-fee policy, ensuring that publication is free of charge for all contributors. The issuance of this zero issue fulfills one of the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research's criteria for accrediting the journal for use in academic promotions and other recognized scientific activities.
