class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-2\"><p>In the presence of Professor Dr. Yassin Taha Alhajjar, President of Alnoor University, a distillation test of petroleum products was conducted by Dr. Mahmoud Abdul Kareem Abdul Qader under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Taha Hussein Alsalem, Head of the Department of Petroleum Engineering, College of Engineering, Alnoor University, in the university\u2019s laboratories for third- and fourth-year students.\nThe test was carried out according to the ASTM D86 standard, the international method for atmospheric distillation of petroleum products, which determines their boiling range to evaluate volatility in fuels (gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel), solvents, and other related courses. The procedure involves a standardized laboratory method in which a 100 mL sample is heated and distilled in batches at atmospheric pressure in a flask, with controlled heating and measurement of vapor temperatures during condensation to plot a distillation curve.\nThis curve indicates the initial boiling point and the final boiling point, which are critical for engine performance during startup, preventing vapor lock, and ensuring product quality. This makes the ASTM D86 method extremely important for both performance and safety.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element
